Is it just me, or is it really basically impossible to get groceries delivered? Do we want to keep spreading this? What about someone quarentined, should they not eat? Why can’t the stores get their acts together?
Maybe use a car service or Uber to get it?

The stores are overwhelmed. Don’t think it’s just the Jewish stores, even Amazon is having a hard time delivering, as well as others.
In some communities, there are volunteers doing shopping for quarantined and elderly people.
Maybe it’s not just you, maybe it’s your location. Baruch Hashem we have been having lots of deliveries. Our local store is doing same day shopping and delivery even though it is not usually a service of theirs. The 7-11 near us will even deliver slurpees!
You have to realize the stores are trying to do their best with what they have
I went to the local supermarket at about 2 AM today and the place was nearly empty. Sure, there were empty shelves in the toilet paper and soap sections but otherwise, fairly well stocked. I used the self-checkout option to avoid having to deal with cashiers and immediately wiped my hands with a wipe.
A lot easier to than last week trying to nail down a deliver time from Amazon Fresh or the delivery service of that same market.You might want to subscibe to instacart who shop for you in shoprite, costco or other stores.
Remember that more people are using delivery, which is good, but it makes the delivery wait longer.
Much more importantly, the longer the virus continues, the more workers either become ill or stay home from fear/ kids/ immune issues. Now you have less people packing and delivering, and the lines get longer still.
I heard instacart might gi on strike. Maybe pay someone to shop for you.
What are the differences between Instacart, Fresh Direct and Amazon Fresh?
No idea, but going to the shop is definitely better. maybe try going to the the shop in middle of the night as somebody suggested earlier.
As of today, Sunday, March 29, 2020, all Bingo stores will remain open 24 hours until further notice.
