Who’s taking it today?!
June 14, 2012 8:22 pm at 8:22 pm #879762TheGoqParticipantPeople who want to graduate or advance to the next year of high school.
June 14, 2012 8:31 pm at 8:31 pm #879763WolfishMusingsParticipantMy niece took it today. I’ve been tutoring her for it.
(Yes, I know that by talking or otherwise interacting to my niece I am a horrible person who purposely disregards the boundaries of tznius and taharas hamachaneh.)

No doubt I will for the sin of helping my niece with her regents.

June 14, 2012 9:59 pm at 9:59 pm #879766bekitzurParticipantQuestions I still haven’t figured out:
If some person is making a recipe with 3/4 of a teaspoon of something, and she is making it five times, how many TABLESPOONS does she need? (3 teaspoons/tablespoon)
Also:
If someone exceeded 95000 on a test out of 125000 people, what percentile is she in?
June 14, 2012 10:49 pm at 10:49 pm #879767youngbubbyMember76th percentile. Glad you didn’t take the regent today! 🙂
June 15, 2012 12:38 am at 12:38 am #879768bekitzurParticipantLol youngbubby – I did take it!! And 76 is right. I didn’t know it but it was multiple choice and all the other choices were less than 40, so I did it logically. 🙂
June 15, 2012 1:51 am at 1:51 am #879769hockoftherockMemberWho needs regents anyway you should be sitting and learning in kollel.
June 15, 2012 2:14 am at 2:14 am #879770lakewhutParticipant3/4 * 5 = 3.75/3= 1.25. 76th percentile. Was that question multiple choice?
June 15, 2012 2:23 am at 2:23 am #879771bekitzurParticipantI GOT A 99%!!
June 15, 2012 11:47 am at 11:47 am #879772youngbubbyMembercongrats bekitzur! I thought the questions you posted were examples, not actual questions, and that they were simple! Then my daughter came home and said she messed up on that one, so I just ate my words! Do you know that passing on the algebra regent this year is 31%?!
June 15, 2012 1:41 pm at 1:41 pm #879773bekitzurParticipantOh, it went down then! It used to be 33% 🙂
