Which is a better value?
Odyssey is better value overall. More space for passenger and packages as well as a smoother drive.
The only benefit of Grand Caravan is the repairs on Dodge/Chrysler are cheaper. The downside is, you’ll be spending so much on the numerous repairs it’s a slow bleed.
Since you did not specify, I’ll assume you are talking leases.
Honda gives you $1500 towards cosmetic repairs at lease end.
The Caravan has more toys to play with.
Both are good, and I’ve had both. Between the 2, if I had to choose now, I’d take the Caravan.
Simple comparison:
Odyssey is a more refined vehicle with a smoother engine and tranmission.
Dodge/Chrysler is cheaper $$$ and drives that way too.
Odyssey. even w/ its quarks it was a good drive. I’m biased towards foreign made cars b/c that’s what my parents get so that’s what I drive too
If I had to choose, I’d choose the Odyssey engine but the caravan body. I’m not a fan of the new Odyssey. I prefer the looks of the previous model or even the one before that (pre2012 or pre2004)
