Does anyone feel like it’s wrong that pictures of accident scenes are posted on YW? Especially when there is a meis involved? I don’t feel like this is kavod to the meis or to their family that everyone needs to see (read: gawk or yent) them being strapped onto a stretcher and being loaded into an ambulance.

i definitely agree, however, many times the pictures don’t have anything really different about them, usually just pics of police, shomrim, ambulences, hatzola, or whatever but if it gets personal, meaning you can see the victim or something like that, than i would object.

I agree with sof davar hakol nishma: I would not object to general pictures, but personal pictures are,in my opinion, inappropriate.
I agree. I know for a fact that the child of the niftar of this past fridays accident, was shown the pictures….if there were no pictures…they would not be able to see it..right?
I agree that it has no place. It bothers me very much.
i dont think it is right at all! why does the whole world have to see these pictures? also it is probably very embarrasing for those people in the pictures and their family members
some times people want to keep these things private!
