Hi! I want to go with two friends (we’re 19) to PA on Sunday and Monday… does anyone know any fun and inexpensive things we can do there? (We heard about Herr’s factory but we need to do more than just that!!) Thanks!

Well you can go to Chevron, Beis Lechem and Yericho. Other than that I’m not really sure what else there is to do there. You should rent a security guard or four though.

What part of PA? Unless you are staying in Wilmington just getting to the Herr’s factory will take up a good portion of your day.

We were looking into Nottingham or Essington but really we’re open for anything. We were supposed to go somewhere else but our plans fell through. If anyone has any ideas of places outside of PA, please share! We’re looking for two days, one night .. that isn’t more than three hours from the NY/NJ area. If anyone knows anything about things to do in upstate NY, it would be great if you could share it! Thank you!

Go to Hershey. Kosher food in Harrisburg 10 minutes away. Not sure how much yoou want to spend though. If you want to spend as much as you would at Herrs, Hershey is not for you, the indoor activities cost a bit more. This time of year you can get rooms for $50-$60.

About 25 minutes from the Herrs factory is Lancaster. Must be SOMETHING for you to do there. I dont mean to stereotype, but great outlet malls there if thats your thing. Shopping not your thing, ask your Rav if the Mennonite temple is something you can visit (Ive been meaning to ask mine for a long time but it has never come up as a practical question).

There’s a huge outlet mall near lancaster. But that’s not a fun inexpensive thing to do ;-).

It’s called tanger outlets. They have ann taylor factory, banana factory, calvin klein, coach factory, gap outlet, j.crew factory, RL factory, TH factory, and other good stores.

If you go on the tanger outlet website, you can get printable coupons for their stores.
