Lots of people go to Kohls on the Belt Pkwy at the Bay Parkway exit. There is loads of parking, and its only 15 minutes from BP / Flatbush. The other option is Prospect Park, but parking is a bit harder. Ikea in Red Hook is another choice, but somewhat tricky to find, if you’re not familiar with the area. (I’ll coach you thru it, if you’re not keen on choice 1 and 2)

You can also go by on the Ave U side of Marine Park. Theres a big parking lot in the park. Just walk across the street. Thats where I go every year

Brooklyn College, that’s where we go. It’s a wonderful place for tashlich and the guard is very cooperative.

There is always the old standby, the beach. You can take the train, so parking wont be an issue. If you go at night, parking is also not normally an issue. You can go on the boardwalk in Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach and down Surf Ave in “Coney Island”.

You can also drive down to the end of Ocean ave to the Bay (past the Bel Pkwy). In Marine Park you can park anywhere near Kings Plaza or go further down Flatbush Ave extension and park in the Toys R Us lot.

You can go anywhere along Emmons Avenue past Ocean Avenue (near Loehmanns). There is a small inlet on East 27th Street and Emmons that is very convenient.

the best spot usualy is by the Brooklyn Army terminal pier on 58 st. & 1 ave. but this year due to the UN assembly the whole pier is taken by NYPD and they do not allow parking inside the pier but you coould park your car and walk into the pier to say tashlich.

They even wished people a “shana tova” on rosh hashana!

If you’re avoiding the aforementioned places for shmiras einayim, you might be ok without tashlich. ask.

we all hope and are mispalel that we would not need to know this next Rossh Hashana.

All belzer shtieblach said Tashlich ??”? after mincha (as per original minhag) at a fire hydrant. It was a really ????? ???? no ?????? problems. And a side benefit “convinience”.I am not a belzer chasid but if a hydrant is good enough for 200 yiden and their Dayan it sure is good enough for me

The Aruch HaShulchan states that it is preferable to avoid the Tashlich ritual entirely since it leads to prohibited social mingling. The whole ritual is based on the belief of the Maharil that there is a link to Parshas Rosh Hashanah, the Akeidash, since the Medresh says that the Soton turned himself into a river so Avrohom Avinu couldn’t reach the top of Moriah. The Gra was turned off by this completely and didn;t hold by tashlich. The Arizal did hold by tashlich, as did most mekubalim.
