When raising children, emphasize the positive, what they are doing good and how good they are because of it. Praise them when they do good and do not figure that no praise is required because their behavior is normal.
When emphasizing the positive, it will bring to love rather tban fear.

If only we all knew just how important it is to always be positive in all situation in life. Hashem even created a math called algebra where 2 negatives become positive.
