I am a Jewish gun owner in Lakewood. Last night my store windows were shot out. If we dont learn to protect ourselves.no one will do it for us. Be A Mench and remember “NEVER AGAIN”

a. your store was shot out because you own a gun (your gun went off accidentally and shot thru the window?)
or
b. your store was shot out despite the fact that you own a gun (the gun did not actually prevent the crime)
or
c. Your store was shot out but you were able to prevent a robbery or bodily harm because you own a gun
d. none of the above, but you are scared stiff because your store was shot out, and the gun gives you a sense of security.October 30, 2018 9:21 am at 9:21 am #1613547akupermaParticipant1. Owning a gun is useless unless one has training in how to use it. Otherwise, your foot is at greater risk than the criminal. And a trigger happy vigilante would cause more trouble than it would prevent.
2. Accord to the Wall Street Journal, people at an Orthodox shul in Pittsburg on learning of the shooting responding by securing the doors and pulling out their own guns. Apparently, some people manage to have guns without ceremony. Indeed, since an armed guard would be the first and easiest target for a terrorist, any use of weapons should be done with a minimum of publicity.
