In the Tri state area which city, in your opinion is the most happening on Purim night? 5 towns? Flatbush? etc
Boro Park.
It’s streets are vigorously energetic with festive jubilation concentrated virtually on every block.
You can find other places of vigorous Purim festivities but not as concentrated on block after block for the entire neighborhood.
Everywhere Megillat Esther is read is a happening place on Purim night!
Ah Freilichen, ocho s & Joseph!
Flatbush & Boro Park have been elevated to the rank of great US cities like Springfield, Sioux Falls, Honolulu, Des Moines, Anchorage and Chattanooga!
And 5 Towns is the only US city to begin with a numeric digit!
Such a hoot to be reminded of the Great Country Yossi’s conversation about the 5 boro’s!
All those reminiscing together with me, say Aye!
I hear that the YU Purim Chagigah is pretty good.
Is there a mitzvah to “”happen” on Purim night?
Golfer,
It’s called THE 5 towns
Coffee ad, my intention was not to demote THE 5 Towns to a name denoting lesser status.
Please see mr ocho’s post.
Purim night has been ruined by fundraising.
Boro Park is the best, but don’t bother with a car.
THE 5 towns with heh hayediya.
