Seriously, people (yeah, even little me has a bit of seriousness).

When someone new comes on the scene, we can generally tell within one or two days more or less what to expect, what the character is all about, even without disclosing gender and age. Intelligence is something that comes across by means of communication, engaging in dialogue, having a “masa vmatan”. Some chose not to disclose all their personal, private matters, others let it out freely, but sechel is something that cannot be copied, imitated, impersonated. A person’s middos will always shine (or …) forth through the posts, a discerning or even cursory reader will pick up on those “notes”, vibes. In my short(!) time here I’ve met a lot of posters with exploratory refined middos and character, reading their posts always brings an enjoyment, a smile to my face. There are others here who have exceptionally bright minds, their posts are really brilliant, they really have something to “give”.

Others who come (stumbled )in here, lav davka, not necessarily know the ins and outs, they haven’t been here, know nothing about this place. So sometimes it takes some time and the newbie opens up to something unique, someone with whom to share or engage in conversation, with much to offer. Other times they have nothing really i#######t to say and they run dry and leave of their own accord. Part of our test here is to see how we deal with one… ???? ?? and ???? ????? ???? ??????. That’s the way, I’d suppose is to deal with them.
