Is it possible to institute a qualifying critical reading, writing, and logic test before one is permitted a username in the CR to help maintain the quality of the discussions?
So often the discussions spiral out of control into personal attacks and “arguments” so ridiculous and fact-ignorant, they don’t justify responses. The original intent of the OP inevitably gets lost in translation, and essentially the thread becomes moot while everybody and nobody at the same time were able to exchange opinions.

It’s the second law of thermodynamics…things tend towards entropy. Godwin’s law is just another version of this.
