What has been your experience with the operation of the New York City (and other) vaccination centers.

Mine was excellent. I was in and out in about 20 minutes (not counting the post-vaccination waiting time to check for adverse side effects). The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful. If your paperwork was not quite right, they had alternative ways of checking on your eligibility, which they did readily and promptly. Under very difficult circumstances, it could not have been better.

Very orderly, 10-15 wait in line to register and confirm eligibility. No wait from registration to the nurse that administered the shot. Process and side effects were clearly communicated, shot administered, then straight to the observation area where I sat for 15 minutes and was offered water and OU certified fruit punch.

They were letting people pull over on the side of the road to park in the “no standing” zone because lots were closed, and they were not ticketing.
