Isn’t it a good rule of thumb not to talk about people…..?

March 5, 2010 2:36 pm at 2:36 pm #759204Mrs. DoubtfireParticipantI can really say Rabbi Walletstein changed my life. I’m a regular woman in a big frum city with no trauma or drama in my life bH so you would never think I am such a changed person because there is nothing different about me on the outside. But on the inside and in my connection to Hashem I am completely inspired by yiddishkeit and have a different outlook on life in general now and on the purpose of our lives.
I listen to R Wallerstein’s shiurim all the time and they always give me a boost!
As an added bonus my housework is much less tedious and gets done so much more quickly when I have a shiur plugged into my ears.
I am ever grateful to Rabbi Wallerstein for making my life that is so full of blessings boruch Hashem, that much richer!

Regular “woman”, huh? You’re sure you’re not Robin Williams? Mind if I asked why you chose this username? Just curious!

April 13, 2011 1:52 am at 1:52 am #759217mra01385ParticipantI totally agree that R Wallerstein is one of the best speakers I know! Before I got married, and lived in NY, I used to go listen to him every wed night in Ohr Naava. Also, thanks to apusheta yid for giving me the inspiration to start listening to his shiurim again by downloading it to my mp3 player from torahanytime. Now I can listen to his shiurim in the car while driving to and from work.
April 13, 2011 12:55 pm at 12:55 pm #759218A Woman Outside BrooklynParticipantAnd it can’t be mentioned enough times what a benefit TorahAnyTime.com has been! I’m off now to see if I have that shiur referred to here from Rabbi Keleman (I know I have quite a few of his on my Ipod). One of my son’s has found virtually every shiur available and has thousands on his computer!
Cute anecdote about R’ Keleman’s shiur on “Why Jews Don’t Celebrate Xmas”…. I have a coworker who is a J.. Witness. One year she was trying to compile info for a presentation to her church on why Xmas is a pagen holiday. I passed along an email I’d received based upon that shiur, and she found it helpful (there was no Das Torah in what I gave her – I edited it first).
