YWN posted a purported story (on January 7, 2014) about a donkey being abused at Kfar Chabad. No source is listed. I have made inquiries here (at the Coffee Room), called YWN’s posted telephone number, and written YWN by email. I have not received any response — here or elsewhere.
Will anyone explain the source of this story? It is not reported in the Israeli press (on their English websites). And if there is no verifiable source, a retraction is in order

If I saw a story only reported in Ha’aretz, I would do the same thing: write them and ask them who is their source and ask them to check their source.
Also, Ha’aretz frequently uses by-lines — so one can write the author. YWN does not list any author or journalist in regard to the donkey-Kfar Chabad claim.
So what or who is the source for this story?
