rebetzin j left nachals last year and is opening a new seminary called chemdas ( in Jerusalem) this year. my school spoke to us and is highly recommending this seminary, it is supposed to be more like seminar and nachlas. our school gave out application forms today she is speaking on wednesday evening and is starting interviews on thursday!!! so the application forms dosnt have to be filled in by the interview and we can decide weather we want to apply or not! so this is all a huge shock for me im giving THREE days notice for an interview!! can anyone who had a seminary interview or an interview with mrs jackobowicz (for BYA or nachlas) please give me advice! also i want to know what the girls in america are doing are they also having interviews so early?

October 15, 2013 5:00 pm at 5:00 pm #979103Princess15Memberwhat do you mean by think?
October 15, 2013 5:26 pm at 5:26 pm #979104takahmamashParticipantWhat? That sems are overpriced? It’s obvious – just look at the price difference between programs for Israeli girls and American girls in places that have both programs.
For example – 3 years ago my oldest learned for a year. We paid NIS 12 thousand, while the Americans paid $15 thousand. That’s a huge difference. That leads to my conclusion that most sems could charge less and still make money.
(My youngest is learning this year, and the price difference at her place is similiar.)
