The 3 weeks are coming and we are in a scary war. During this time we need a lot of rachamim, compassion. One way to do that is to judge other favorably so Hashem is favorable to us. It’s hard sometimes, but we need to do all we can.

July 11, 2014 12:37 am at 12:37 am #1023202my own kind of jewParticipantThe question is, can you judge favorably people who aren’t simply doing what you already believe is good? It’s very easy to judge your friends favorably, not nearly as much so your enemies.

Even when someone is not doing what we know they should be doing, we can say, maybe they don’t know any better. Or, okay they don’t do this, but they do something else that’s good like charity. The main thing is not to have negative feelings towards fellow Jews, but positive feelings. maybe, if we show them that we see their good qualities and potential, that will inspire them to grow, G-d willing
