    Hi all

    I am in need of a new Shas . There are b”H many to choose from.

    I am looking for a medium size shas , not giant volumes that are too diffcult to lug around and are more for show than use, nor small ones that strain the eyes .

    There seem to be many “nice” prints available oz vehadar, shas vilna hachadash.

    which do you recommend and why ( my local seforim store is a bit skimpy on their selection and doesnt carry much in stock)

    I recommend the Vilna Shas. It is only 270 and it is beautiful print. I personally like it because the the pages of the Rif is the same as most shases( sura hadaf) and there is list of poskim on the side of the gemera that are quoted by the gemera, rashi and tofos. I personally use them all the time.
