Looking for a good sturdy pair of mens boots that is good for the snow, has good traction and doesn’t look weird and I can get away with wearing it with dress pants or a suit on Shabbos…
Todah Rabbah.

My concern with Timberlands is that they may be too heavy I need something light weight.
Lands end is too sporty.
Overshoes only work in shallow snow and I dislike those rubber boot overshoes where you have to be a strongman to get them off…
Wellington is a type of boot not a brand but thanks for the idea. Definitely up my alley in what I am looking for.
Neos looks interesting but I hope they are easy too get off or else they aren’t for me.
Everyone, thanks for being so helpful.
February 12, 2013 12:56 am at 12:56 am #929243benignumanParticipantI have high overshoes (as high as any boot) that only have rubber on the outside but have material on the inside so they go on and off easily. They are more expensive than the old fashioned rubber ones but it is worth it.
I would post a link but I don’t think the mods would let it through.

Who makes the boots you are referring to?
February 12, 2013 4:09 am at 4:09 am #929245benignumanParticipantThe company is called “Servus.”
Make sure to get the ones with fabric lining. They cost about $60.
