    Anyone know how to go about redeeming AA miles for an ELAL flight from Brooklyn to Isreal?!

    You cant …

    If you want a Free ticket to israel , Its the hardest free ticket to obtain, but your best chance is a Partner of AA thats a European Airline and transfer in Europe

    ELAL is their only partner

    I just redeemed continental miles for a flight on USAIR from philadelphia to Israel using Continental Airlines website. I would expect that you can accomplish what you want by either AA’s website, or calling AA on the phone.

    El Al planes do not land in Isreal. Their planes land in Israel.

    i’ve done it. call the american airlines aadvantage 800 number, and give them the elal flight info.

    You are not allowed to sell your miles, if they catch you they might void them.

    Ask them to book you on Iberia Airlines , British Airways or Malev you will have a much better shot of getting a free ticket

    Zahavasdad- Aren’t people looking to buy miles all the time? How else do people redeem their miles if they dont really fly?!

    My husband did it last year, it was 90,000 miles, and he had to pay the taxes on the ticket. It is less miles if u do not go direct. They have an 800 number that u can call and they will help u out.

    I wonder if people are confusing AMEX points with AA Miles.

    You can cash in AMEX points for a ticket on El-Al, but you cant cash in AA Miles for El-AL

    According to AA’s site you can.

    Redeem AAdvantage Miles

    Use AAdvantage miles to book award travel on EL AL flights with the AAdvantage participating airline awards. These awards allow travel on any combination of AAdvantage participating carriers.

    There are no Travel Embargo Dates on EL AL in 2011.

    I stand corrected about El-Al being a AA partner.
