Am I allowed to? It’s hanging from one side can I rehang the second side?
I would say that you are not maktze to the place but to the sukkah, so you hang them to the other side.
Ask your local orthodox Rabbi but one thing for sure is don’t get your FINAL DECISION answer from what people write in the coffee room.
The coffee room is just a chat to talk about different things and hear peoples opinions but NEVER to get a poisek on a halacha question.
If in Chol Hamoed you remove it and put it some where else might be a problem, but if it fell you can put it back where you want to.
I found the Tzitz Eliezer (13,67) who allows removing decorations from this sukkah and hanging it into another sukkah, so obviously as mentioned above there is no problem moving it somewhere else in the same sukkah.
