    I remember it so vividly:- It was a Thursday, and we brokefast by toasting the birth of the United States of America, and toasting our freedom from Britain just like they now are toasting their freedom from Europe.

    That day was also a Brexit with Britain exiting our 13 colonial states.

    Yes July 4, 1776 was really Shiva Assar B’Tammuz

    I saw it posted elsewhere and to double check I went to one of the calender converted websites that tell you the hebrew date for any english date and sure enough July 4, 1776 was Shiva Assar B’Tammuz
