I can’t believe it’s almost Rosh Hashana- What do you do to prep?

BTW wishing everyone a beautiful holiday filled with an abundance of blessing, good health, true happiness and success in all areas of life!

May all your prayers be answered L’Tovah.

To be perfectly honest it’s a bit late to start prepping now. I’m sure on aish hatorah and ohr sameiach website you can find some great articles. I’d also recommend listening to shiurim from Torahanytime website.

Also, I would recommend getting an artscroll interlinear Machzor and take the time to peruse the prayers between now and Yom Tov. Specifically the Shacharis and mussaf shemoneh esrei.

I sat down with my Rabbi (and an artscroll interlinear Machzor) and we went over the davening. Including such important things as which parts our shul does and which parts we skip. But also the major themes of the day.

For me this is the difference between enjoying the holiday and being very frustrated.

I also now have a bunch of post its sticking out of my machzor so I can find stuff quickly
