How long does your shul take for Rosh Hashanah davening – from the beginning of Brochos until the end of Musaf?
Shachris; 8:00 am
End of Musaf; 4:00pm (with a small 45 minute break after krias hatorah)
8:00am till 3:00, with a 30 minute break.
But honestly, if I try to not clockwatch on Rosh Hashona, I find the davening to go quite smoothly and before I know it, it’s over.
I always bring a sefer or even a jewish inspirational book (like Rabbi Krohn’s Maggid books) that I skim through by chazaras hashatz or by the long yoitzros in order to give me a “boost” insted of spacing out.
I always appreciated these thoughtful gentlemen who bring these shmeck tabaks or other smelling b’somim to shul and pass it around for e/1 to enjoy. Davening can be reeeally long, and it’s these little acts of chesed that could make it all worth it!
The vasikin minyan finishes at approximately 9:30-10am, with great davening & still having a great portion of the day left.
It’s really gevaldig.
