Try quinoa salad.
Boil quinoa according to directions (buy pre-rinsed kind).
Add olive oil, lemon juice, cashews, craisins, chopped fresh mint leaves, and salt (serve at room temperature) Very delicious.
Kosher by design cookbook also has some amazing salad recipe’s. If you have the book, I can make some recommendations of salads I’ve made that guests loved.
2 delicious and pretty salads:
Romaine lettuce
cherry tomatoes
honey glazed almonds
fresh portabello mushrooms.
Dice it all up and mix. This salad comes with a typical euro salad dressing.
Romaine lettuce
diced pieces of smoked turkey and/or pastrami,
Cherry tomatoes
Some plain slivered almonds(optional)
Mix and pour dressing over salad.(If you want it, I’ll check up recipe for you.)
Hearts of palm sliced about 1/4″ thick, with halved cherry tomatoes. red onion, some mayonnaise and a little sugar.
Well its either in Brooklyn or Monsey (that narrows it down :/)
