Around yizkor and at yartzeits I like to give a small tzedakah donation in memory of some friends. I prefer organizations related to matters that my friends really cared about.
So now I am looking for reputable Israeli chessed organizations that
1) support teaching music to children, or help them purchase instruments to pursue learning music, or provide music therapy.
2) provide glasses, eye exams, eye care, (eye operations?) for kids, adults with challenges
(Or might Israeli health care cover that? I don’t remember ever anything about this..)
(I put this notice in “money & finance”??? I didn’t see a category for tzedakahs. What am I missing?)

What we buy in the USA for $5 in amazing savings can cost as much as $50 in Israel. I send my good condition toys to Israel when I can.

is Tzeddaka
And about the music, maybe you can find a sick child who would benefit from playing an instrument. I think that would fall into Tzeddaka. Music has the power to heal!
