Yeah. Something to get lively about. Any suggestions?

Go back in time 16 years (to 18) and try again, knowing that you will need to make a living.

In the meantime, stay on government programs and tuition assistance, and pump out tax credits (children).

I think you’re at_work too much. I’m looking for suggestions for lively threads.

    btw, the 34 age is a MOD’s idea/assumption/speculation.

Attend a job fair (you can google it, for something near your area) to see what is out there. Don’t just follow the trend, or whatever your sister / sis-in-law does. Not everyone needs to be a therapist or teacher.

Also, you can google “emerging job trends” or “jobs for the next 10 years” and see what reputable magazines like US News / Fortune / Consumer Reports / Business Week) have to say on the subject.

You might also check with a local college to see if they have a carrear counslor who can tell you what the courses they offer will prepare you for. They might even have a placement office, soyou can get an idea of where the graduates end up.

What do you like doing? Figure out how to turn that into a job. Don’t go into something just because you read that its the next big thing. Because even if it really is the next big thing if you hate it and do a half way job on it you won’t do well in it? If you want to be a true success you need to bring you “A” Game to work every day

Yes, if I’d be looking for work, I may use some advice posted here, nobody here took the time to read my first post. Too busy with ‘livelihood’, I suppose!
