I’m scheduled to take a long-distance trip on Amtrak next week and am super excited :).
Amtrak provides travelers with kosher meals, and according to my internet research, those meals are supplied by Borenstein caterers. Does anybody know anything about Borenstein and whether their kashrus is reliable? According to their website, they are certified by both OU and Volove Kashrus, but when I looked up their meals on Google Images, they only had an OU on the meal package. Does anyone have any knowledge of this company?Borenstein Caterers is owned by El Al preparing all their meals for flights originating in the USA as well as proving kosher meals to other airlines and transportation.
