I’m at a loss and hoping CoffeeRoom folks can help:

Seeking ideas for our family’s 4-day vacation destination in August. Must be 5 hours or less driving time from the tri-state area. Our kids are 6-12, all boys. There must be ACTIVITIES at the place, not just pretty scenery, or my kids will be bored. (ex: horseback riding, boat rides, etc. Not amusement parks)

We went to Niagara Falls last year, and that was nice, but it’s out for this year. Any ideas for me?

Hershey, Pennsylvania. But only if your kids like amusement parks. I think there is kosher food available in the park, and there is kosher “bed and breakfast” about an hour away.

amish and hershey = lancaster Pa, I know a few people who go there for 3 day trips and love it enough to go back yearly.

If chasidim go to Lancaster, do the Amish think they are there long lost cousins 🙂
