Is anyone familiar with the seder aishey yisroel? It says me’es rav chain kanievsky shlita and rav fifer I believe. I’m looking for an honest review if anyone has one to offer, it was highly recommend to me.
Ishey Yisroel is written by Rav Avraham Yeshaya Pfeuffer (pronounced Foyfer). It contains Teshuvos b’inyonei tefila from Rav Chaim Kanievsky. It is very very thorough and I have seen many rabonim using it.
I won’t use it . He did not mention his late brother, Ha Rav Ha Gaon Aharon , zt”l anywhere in his dedications. I knew both of them in Johannesburg many years ago. He owes everything to his brother.
There’s nothing particularly special in the saifer, there are no lack of good ones on t’fillah.
This sefer is a thick red sefer published 1998 in EY. It has many references under the halochos similar to the 5 Chalokim of Piskei Teshuvas by Ben Zion Rabonowitz following the MB and current applicable teshuvas. In the back are teshuvas from Rabbi Chaim Kanevsky Shlita.
Its a very good sefer. I would compare it to a piskei teshuvos just this is on teffilah. It has many sources which makes it grewt for referencing diff shitos.
Thanks for all the responses, much appreciated
