Anyone know of some seminaries that start in 12th grade? Like gateshead and manchester-anyone have info on those two? thanks
gateshead i believe you need to be below 17. manchester does early admission, as well as yavne in cleveland. call the seminaries in E”Y and ask them if they do early admin. doesn’t hurt to ask. Hatzlacha
this is going back to stuff i heard nearly 3 years ago. gateshead IIRC is more by the books. don’t remember if its the new gateshead or the old one. (they are 2 different schools) Manchester i believe is a mix of europian girls as well as american girls. don’t really know more than that about them
. yavne is a TOTAL mix. flatbush, monsey, chicago, LA, texas, canada, st louis, baltimore, lakewood….. a melting pot. i don’t think any of these places are chassidish. they are probably best described as yeshivish but you are going to have variation in each place and there may be individuals that are “flatbush type”. its intense studying both in class and homework/preparation. not a place for slackers. the teachers are warm and welcome all types of q’s and many encourage q’s.
