Hello!
I’m 17 and I’m looking for a sem for next year. I’m french and I’d like to know a little bit more about the new Gateshead and manchester seminary. Or any seminary in america..
If you know:
-Phone numbers/email address
-The typical schedule ( is there any sort of college type program there that either the school gives as optional or girls do on their own ? )
-costs
-When do I have to apply?
-Any other informations you have

hi. You have to apply for gateshead around chanukah time and then they only start accepting right before pesach. I can give you information on old gateshead if thats a help….
I can give u some info on new manchester sem.
Lessons start at 9 every morning. There are 4 lessons. after lunch there are courses from the manchester college. Every girl has to participate in one course it lasts a whole year, there are many different courses such as IT, media, childcare, interior design, floristry, business, accounting…… Then you have free time from about 5.30 till 7.45. Dinner is served in sem but a lot of girls go helping and then eat there. Then there is one shiur in the evening. Curfew at 10. If you have a simcha, want to babysit…. U can get permission to stay out till 12 or to sleep out. On thursday afternoon courses finish earlier and shiur starts later and all girls go helping. Most girls find a family to go to on their own but if they dont know anyone the sem assigns them to a family.
