    ok i understand that many take vacation after the 3 weeks. but why davka shabbos nachamu?

    I plan to be home and pursue my normal shabbos activities including attending my Rav’s shiurim and learning with my chavrusahs.

    This is the wrong audience for this question. This Shabbos has significance mostly for single people.
    There are Shabbatons in different hotels for singles.
    On the other hand, in general there is an extra simcha on this Shabbos.
