    The Dubner Maggid says that nachmu, consolation is written twice as the Hashem’s wish for our nechama is itself our nechama by showing that He cares for us. The seven haftaros of consolation is a back and forth comunication between Hashem and us on who should console whom. At the end Hashem says anochi, anochi, I alone will console you and we say, sos osis baShem, I am happy with His consolation promising words.

    There is no Shva under the Chet. Nachamu, not Nachmu and certainly not Nachmi. That’s just ridiculous.

    These words of consolation should never have been needed in the first place as klal yisroel as a nation-yes myself included-should never have done the many sins relating to the days of theany tragedies that happened on both-the 17th of tamuz AND on the 9th of Av from OVER THOUSANDS OF YEARS-and don’t just relate to the destruction of both Bais hamikdosh
    destroyed on Tisha Bav

    May we all do Teshuva ASAP together so that the Bais hamikdosh can be rebuilt ASAP

    Please excuse RE for the indiscretion of not writing the chataf.There is no patach alone either. It is a compound nekudah And guess what? Its kiflayim.

    Yabia: No Shva, that’s correct. However it is chataf, in our circles, it’s pronounced as hybrid patach/shva, so both are correct!!!

    beautiful
    @yabia Omer
    don’t you have better things to do than to nitpick at the way someone spells things? he said over a beautiful vort. be consistent to your complaints and don’t focus on the chitzonius (the spelling or pronunciation) but focus on the penimius (the Dvar Torah). is this what jews in 2021 are complaining about? really? the way someone spells Nachamu??

    Now Tu B’ov falls on Shabbos Nachamu which is similar to Yom Kippur being a kapara of the meraglim whereas Yom Kippur is the kapara of the eigel. Both, the girls celebrated in white dress borrowing in order not to ashame each other.

    Yabia Omer, reply #1994029, why is there a chatov (shavo nah) under the ches when it is a tenua ketana (patach) which should be closed with a shavo noch?

    THE grammar of nachamu is a פיעל which starts with a פתח under the פ הפועל and a שוא נע and דגש חזק under the ע הפועל.This is modified because a ח can’t take a דגשor a שוא נע. But it takes the חטף instead of the שוא נע. The dagesh is omitted.Gay vays.Shabbat ( dagesh chazak) shalom.

    I am constantly amazed by guys that have no shaychus to dikduk and nonetheless are driven to daven for the amud or put themselves forward as baal korehs. We are not unfairly criticizing poishete yidden as amaratzim and tinokos for their fractured chazanus….. we are criticizing individuals who proclaim themselves as sufficiently knowledgeable to represent the tzibur before the Ebeshter. For me, some of the consistent errors are like chalk on a blackboard but its even worse when we’re talking about things that actually change the meaning of the tefillos and kariah. Kadish seems to be one of the most victimized teffilos and yet it is almost birkas Hashem d’oraisa. And to end the davening every shabbos with an off-key and mangled An’im Zemiros reminds you that it must have been deliberately written by a Chossid to torture his Litvish brethren since I’m not sure I’ve ever heard it pronounced correctly in its entirety.

    What about saying Lesaken Olam Bemalchus Sha…? That sounds like “to endanger the world” rather than to fix the world.
