    Hi everyone,

I could really use some help. I have never gone to yeshiva before and up until recently have never had true learning experience (conservative upbringing, hebrew school, bar mitzvah, but no true learning to speak of). Recently I began doing some learning at a partners in torah class and with a few rabbis in my area and have really started to feel a connection to talmud and the different aspects of learning torah.

I am looking to do a short-term (anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months) program in Israel at a Yeshiva sometime in the late summer. I am 25 years old and it just so happens I will have the available time coming up and it may be one of the last opportunities I get to do something like this.

I would really appreciate it if anyone knew good programs that fit my situation, those that allow for shorter-term stays and one’s for people with no yeshiva learning experience. I am also open to programs in the US, but feel that if I want the true experience I should try and do it in Israel.

    Thanks so much!!!

Ohr Somayach in Yerushalayim might be your place.

Aish HaTorah is also excellent for your situation.
