    We are looking into a bunch of different communites and we thought that lakewood might be a good choice for us. Can anyone tell us about it..and also does babysitting make a good parnasah there?

    Babysitting is free just have the oldest daughter watch the youngest kids all the time.

    I can’t tell you much about paranasah. But if you’re a ‘black hat’ type, this is the place to be. (Otherwise, you might not fit in as well.) If you’re from New York, you will find the quality of life is superior. The best of both ruchnius and gashmius!

    Well, there are a lot of babies here, and many babysitters too.

    As the Baal haTanya said to the innkeeper, “Don’t you think the RS”O can take care of one more”?

    Also, I don’t think “borninthebronx” is correct about non-“black-hatters” not fitting in. It depends on neighborhood, I think.
