I am not a troll. There are topics which are not very important but have never been discussed with the guys in shul or very close relatives or friends. Do you take a shower Friday morning and than one, before Shabbis? I only take one shower on Friday: that’s in the morning.
November 7, 2014 8:58 pm at 8:58 pm #1040350BklynerParticipantYou can take a shower only friday morning as long as you have in mind that it’s Lekovod Shabbos.
November 7, 2014 8:59 pm at 8:59 pm #1040351JosephParticipantI don’t shower after the mikva.
November 8, 2014 6:50 pm at 6:50 pm #1040352lamud vov tzadikParticipantWhy bother with the mikvah it doesn’t make you clean anyway most mikvues nowadays are fill of rubbish and peoples hairs so it’s really disgusting. No offence.
November 9, 2014 12:00 am at 12:00 am #1040353HaQerMemberCan my shower tonight (Motza’ei Shabbos) count for next Shabbos if I have in mind l’kavod Shabbos?
November 9, 2014 1:13 am at 1:13 am #1040354funnyboneParticipantlamod vuv: I take offense. I can’t imagine that it’s harder than breaking the ice that people had to do in the olden days.
November 9, 2014 1:39 am at 1:39 am #1040355showjoeParticipanti heard from a very reliable source that if one takes a shower b4 chatzos (i think) on erev shabbos, he should wash his hands and face again right b4 getting dressed 4 shabbos
November 9, 2014 4:14 am at 4:14 am #1040356👑RebYidd23Participant“No offense” is used when one is about to say something offensive.

November 9, 2014 5:18 pm at 5:18 pm #1040359Sam2ParticipantLior: I’m confused. Are you Ochel Chulin B’Taharah? What reason would there be to not shower after the Mikvah?
November 9, 2014 5:45 pm at 5:45 pm #1040360barlevParticipantSam2, people who see someone showering after the Mikve may assume that the shower makes one pure, and Mikve is just part of the process, there the minhag is not to shower after the Mikve
November 9, 2014 5:56 pm at 5:56 pm #1040361RandomexMemberI’ve heard that washing in honor of Shabbos should be done after
1 (relative) hour before chatzos.
