    I would like to hear if anybody did either the sleeve surgery or the band and how you doing after surgery etc, Thanks.

    my sleeves were too long & I had them successfully shortened. No recovery period.

    ubiquitin I would like to know why you did the sleeve and not the band, and have any issues with throwing up, and are you limited to any foods or drinks like coffee?

    I used to have issues with coffee but now my sleeves stay out of it. I only have problems with throwing up after the Purim seuda

    I had the sleeve surgery done in Monday. I can’t have any caffeine for first 2 weeks after that I think there are no restrictions. I had no issues throwing up; I take anti nausea medication

    I decided to do this over the lap band after speaking with my gastroenterologist and surgeon. It was best for my life style and weight.

    12 years post lap band. Started at 301 lbs. now 179.
