Yes. Once I stopped playing in it and having days off from school it became a burden. Although I will admit that it’s pretty before everyone messes it up 🙂

oh i love snow! the kids home the streets white the grass covered the animals protected and so on…… snow yum yum
east coasters are soft, yes the 16 projected inches is a heavy snowfall but it will probably only be one of about 4 snowfalls this year of that size, where i grew up heavy snowfall is a weekly occurance, every time we are expected to get more than two inches in new york its called the storm of the century
Where is the snow up to in your area? I just mesured the snow on my porch, 7″ and counting.
We are expecting 12″-16″ of snow falling until tomorrow morning or afternoon!I’ll tell you one thing though, basically if not all the schools have off tomorrow including me and I’m very excited and I’m sure everyone else who has off is excited to!!

Yeah – I am not loving it so much as some of you are. We have a bris this week for my new grandson, and I hate that any baby should have to be taken out in such treacherous weather, not to mention all of us having to drive to another neighborhood that is not nearby in order to get there.

with all these people off from school and work tomorrow we expect a busy day in the coffee room! we will need mods so for that i am back (and hopefully popa_bar_abba will be back as well to provide us with interesting content)

I found the snow situation today amusing. Was walking 7 long avenue blocks with 3 bags in 1 hand, while clutching an umbrella with the other hand (with tip-less gloves..) wind blowing in all directions, watching people’s beards splitting in half (from a distance I actually thought one was a fur collar cuz of the way the wind blew it on the coat..) b’kitzur, snow is fun!

fun for everyone-besides those needing emergency care! hatzolah is having a real problem! ambulances are stuck, they can’t get through streets-bec there are cars stuck all over since last night!
Hatzoloh robocalled saying “Don’t take your car out today. This is not a joke.”
That 12″ is now 16″. my window was like a huge screen and I felt i’m watching the weather chanel, it was beutiful.
Yup, plows can’t get through because cars got stuck right in the middle of the streets. I don’t recall this happening in the last few major snow storms. It really was a very bad idea to be driving on the streets. This storm is going to take a while to dig out from.
No school tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For basically all the schools in NY area!!!!!!!!!!!

WH is Washington Heights – I guess that it’s not the only place they play football in the snow – although in my neighborhood (older neighborhood in Monsey…) there arent too many games of anything happening in the streets, and there is never too much buildup of snow in the streets here either…so since I knew they played football in the streets in WH today I was wondering if u were part of that.

when else would anyone in WH, as you call it, be able to play any games in the streets without putting themselves in a lot of danger…
California has gotten over 20 FEET of snow…in the mountains. 🙂

Aaahhhhhh, beautiful snow!! its snowing here in montreal heavily, and i cant wait to head back to the ski hills this coming week!

We love NYC & Manhattan, and thank goodness, even when it does snow, it is the super’s job to clean up, and not our job to clear the snow.
Of-course:- As much as we love Manhattan, Yerusholayim is Home!!
