Aside from the fact it is both a crime that a patriot like Snowden is on the run, and worse, that such a degree of tragic inhumanity is being imposed on Jonathan Pollard, the troubling point I want to discuss here is this:
I just read where “former” Russian spy Anna Chapman has taken a liking to Ed Snowden. The article explained that in 2010, Ms. Chapman was posing as a real estate agent while gathering intel for Russia. She was then deported back to Russia in a prisoner swap where she is free, and free to tweet Snowden to ask for his hand in marriage, evidently.
In light of her less-than-a-slap-on-the-wrist treatment, how is it the same administration is deaf to the wicked injustice perpetrated on Jonathan Pollard who is being held captive far beyond, extremely far beyond the sentencing guidelines of the crime for which he was convicted involving an allied country?
This is so disturbing, I feel like I want to use Chapman’s treatment as a precedence to take on the case, but I am not qualified to do so.
How can America be blessed when it parades around the world as a do-gooder nation, even for bad nations, while it maintains medieval punishment for Jonathan Pollard?

If Mr. Snowden & Ms. Chapman get married, this will be the penultimate slap to Obama.
