let people think they are smarter than you, there are people who are narcissistic and need to believe they are superior to most others to have a sense of self worth, it is sometimes better to let them believe they are your better because to show them you are smarter then they are would be a huge blow to their fragile ego.

Letting others think they are smarter than you due to narcissism is a slippery slope. You will only get more sucked in. Bad idea.
