There was a rare (annular) solar eclipse last night. Does anyone know of any sources in Torah about solar eclipses (or lunar for that matter)

The Gemara says that a Solar eclipse is to remind the Umos Ha’olam that there is a Dayan and to do T’shuvah and that a lunar eclipse should remind K’lal Yisroel of the same thing.

gemorah in sukah 29a says that there are four spiritual reasons for a solar eclipse and one of them is homosexuality. It says that if it happens in the evening that is a sign of evil for the western world if its totally red like blood then a sword is coming if it is dark it means hunger if it is both then both. If it happens in the evenings its a machlokes if it is coming quickly or will take long…

Now with Obamas stance on homosexuality its all clear….WATCH OUT… check out the gemroah and decide for yourself.
