It’s the second time this week that there’s an article in the news about the spiritual dangers in the Catskills. It happens to be that this is a problem throughout the school year in many communities, as well. The truth is that this issue has been troubling me greatly over the past few months, and I was trying to figure out why we have these things happening, so that we can find solutions. Maybe you can help me. For a start: I think the main causes are boredom, lack of fulfillment, and lack of self worth.
I feel parents aren’t close enough with their kids
these days, prob due to busy schedules, cellphone mania,
technology & the gap between parents who arent fluent
with the tech, feel they can’t relate to their kids.
Perhaps they don’t spend good quality/fun time w/ kids
instead letting them surf/text/eatout all the time
go out all the time,
& they don’t pay attention to bad influences,bad friends etc..
& sometimes they are clueless!
these changes don’t happen overnight.
However, maybe this is just my opinion.
