Do you think (assuming you would have other non jewish magazines in you house)this is a kosher magazine or not?

In order to allow my son to read it, my wife first goes through each issue with scissors to extricate all indecent photos.
What’s the other magazines?
Isn’t it full of pritzus? Isn’t this the mag famous for its swimsuit issue?
Lots of female athletes scantily clad throughout the magazine.
The pritzus is even on the cover itself. Just picking up the mail (or the issue lying around) can get you affected.

It’s not only the pictures. You go to the Library and you see frum women from teenagers to grandmothers taking out the most disgusting trashy novels out there. I was there last week returning a “For Dummies” book and to my utter chagrin I see 4 Chasidshe teen girls huddled over a Peoples Magazine discussing this actor/actress. Disgusting!
why do you HAVE to read it??

I’m not a sports fan, but if I remember correctly from my HS days, SI has less to do with the understanding of the sport, and more to do with the glorification of the players.
No comment on the Feb issue
onegoal i sort the mail at the yeshiva where i work if sports illustrated or any magazine of the like comes across my desk in the trash it goes
If you really need a sports magazine to read, forget SI and go with ESPN Magazine. Better articles and less advertisements.
I was just about to say what MiddlePath did. ESPN is more interesting and has much less pritzus.
