I just started 2 new topics which have been ignored by mods. maybe because I didn’t ‘add new topic’ – I just used the blank boxes at the bottom? any input?December 17, 2020 9:15 pm at 9:15 pm #1929677ujmParticipant
Mods review and approve new threads less frequently compared to regular posts. So they usually take longer for approval.December 17, 2020 11:46 pm at 11:46 pm #1929706🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant
Or they review and think they are too stupid to post.December 18, 2020 1:35 pm at 1:35 pm #1929845bored guyParticipant

I wish that was the case, for one the CR would be a lot shorterDecember 19, 2020 7:08 pm at 7:08 pm #1929965PekakParticipant
You need to start a really stupid thread like “I cut off my peyot”, then people will assume that your chassidish even though you wrote peyoT. You need it to be clickbait. Substance is meaningless!December 19, 2020 10:02 pm at 10:02 pm #1929973GadolhadorahParticipant
Presumably, not every subject or issue carries the same level of interest to the Mods as to the poster. After a decade or longer of observing the topics that trigger the greatest level of user response and engagement, I suspect there is a certain intuitive or subject threshold that is used to screen new topics to avoid having the CR drowning in multiple new topics where there is a minimal response to the OP. All of that assumes, of course the OP was “appropriate” and worded in compliance with the editorial standards.December 20, 2020 1:15 pm at 1:15 pm #1930192
ccoffeeaddict what gives? you mind if the cr is too long?December 20, 2020 1:15 pm at 1:15 pm #1930191
it’s so not nice6 for you to insinuate my thread may have been too stupid. besides, it’s dumb. I haven’t posted a single stupid thing in all my tenure here.
mods don’t decide based on intelligence or clickbait. it’s based on merit, something my thread certainly had.December 20, 2020 8:22 pm at 8:22 pm #1930295GadolhadorahParticipant

Well, probably would be newsworthy if the OP came from Chashuvah Rebbelah I who claimed he heard a vert from some Adom Gadol, who in the name of Chashuvah Rebbelah II that payot were no longer required based on his most recent nevuah.
