    How do you keep challah and specifically wholewheat challah from getting hard after opening. For example how do you keep challah from Friday night so that it is still soft the next morning for the day Seudah?



    I just keep it in a closed plastic bag.


    TCG has it exactly right – we put it in a plastic bag and close it. (Although, truth be told, my wife’s got them perfectly sized so that we finish about 1 challah per meal, so there are rarely any left overs.)
