So I was outside in my Sukkah tonight and looked up. I realized I couldn’t see starts. The Mishnah says that L’chatchilah you should be able to see the stars through your S’chach. So I realized that any major city has an issue with ambient light. Therefore, L’chatchilah, one should spend Sukkos in Middle America.
see if you can use a telescope
a pair of strong binoculars might work also.
