    What are good activities for a yeshiva bochur to do when he is home for the summer (besides learning)? It can get pretty boring at times during the summer.

    Go for a hike , buy a fishing rod, use it, be a counselor in a day camp. Anything is better than nothing

    I am not sure about NY area. I have not been there in years.
