They are allowing the carrying of a concealed weapon.

    Should I get a Glock 19 or a Glock 43?

Anyone with experience please share your feedback and reviews of the different competitive options that are best.

Glock 43 is very small and easy to conceal carry. 19 is a bit bigger but still not too big . The 43 though has a (standard) magazine less than half that of the 19. This means after dealing with 7 Amalekim you would have to stop and reload while the 19 would allow for 16 mitzvos. The fire power between the 2 is pretty similar both use 9 mm cartridges and the barrel length is only about 1/2 inch different

I’d say go with the Glock 17. It’s slightly smaller, lighter, and has less recoil. It’s extremely accurate. My personal faves however have got to be the beretta 92m or the sig sauer P328. Two of the best made pistols ever.

If you want a little more power, I’d suggest going with a colt 1911 .45.

UJM: Your application for EITHER model would likely trigger immediate legal filings by CR posters under Article 63-A of the NYS Civil Practice Laws and Rules (“Red Flag Law”) setting forth the facts and circumstances justifying the issuance of a temporary extreme risk protection order by a State Court when there is “probable cause to believe the respondent is likely to engage in conduct that would result in serious harm to himself, herself, or others, as defined in paragraph one or two of subdivision (a) of section 9.39 of the mental hygiene law.” Yesterday’s SCOTUS decision had no effect on such laws.

This could be unhealthy for your local neighborhood mugger, and will seriously impair terrorists and serial killer wannabees. Just think of what could if they go into a store, or school, or shul and start shooting – somebody might stop them before they can accomplish what they set up to do.

What’s a good well priced small gun for me to carry? I need one in case I have a parking dispute or similar occurrence.

    #2100145

Gadol, yes, we will first need to file for an order to disclose ujm’s IP.

Maybe rather than monitoring mental and prisoner records, there should be psychological tests for empathy. Just review of social media would suffice, like in this case.

    Ubiq nice
Ujm never know whether to take you seriously
If you are actually serious the state you live in makes all the difference
Bc whether or not you want to be mikayim the mitzvah to the best of your ability, if you live in NY/NJ that Glock 19 (or any other gun) is limited to 10 mitzvos
I’ve trained dozens to shoot and my advise is to try numerous guns bf buying
Everyone I’ve taught has a different favorite

yaakov doe: I suggest starting out by retaining a good criminal defense lawyer since it really helps to have one on call in case they don’t let you post bail (also make sure you have assets such as a home equity available to make bail). The right to own and carry a weapon does not change the law about using the weapon, nor does it even lower the penalty for using a weapon unlawfully.

“every bullet has a lawyer attached”
but you may have stumbled on one of many roadblocks to carry in NYC
They may have to grant these licenses but they can theoretically mandate everything from special training (which i believe in) to mandating expensive hard to find insurance
they can create gun free zones. everything from bars (i certainly hope so) to schools. All of these things will then send it back to the courts

NYC will drag out the implementation of the order and find “new” conditions that will have to be litigated.
