my car doesnt have a cd player–and im getting bored of the same tapes over and over and my judaica store seemed to have stoped sellling tapes alltogether any1 know any store that still sells tapes?

At least your cassette player still works. Our car’s cassette stopped working a few months ago. Sometimes, my son lets us use his iPod with speakers in the car though with some kind of gadget that you can put through the lighter. If anyone can describe this function to lkjhgfdsa on how it works, be my guest. I just can’t describe things to well.

Brooklyn19 made a good point that you could buy a converter for an ipod or CD player that plugs into your tape deck.
December 30, 2008 9:07 pm at 9:07 pm #628720CuriousMemberlkjg- You can buy a cassette adapter which will allow you to hook up an MP3 player or CD player and play all your songs..
Here’s a link to what I’m referring to:

No. The needle would jump if the car hit a bump.

Also, since you already paid for your CD, why don’t you record a tape off the CD, FOR YOUR OWN USE ONLY, and use the cassette in the car player? You say you cannot find the tapes, so it shouldn’t be a problem t do so. You just need to have or borrow a CD player that tapes off the CD.
