Teenagers don’t struggle because they don’t understand.
They struggle because no one explains it to them clearly.Adults are sometimes uncomfortable discussing concepts with teenagers that they were not taught at that age.
I would like to break the cycle of sheltered teenagers.
Be the first to tell them and they will know it in a healthy way!!You are absolutely wrong. The sheltered teenagers struggle MUCH less than the unsheltered teenagers.
Every teenager should be sheltered from the secular world and all the crazy subjects in the world.

That may be true in part, but some concepts can’t be explained. They have to be learned through one’s own efforts, experiences and observations, and that can take a long time.

Even tho your right, also, Teenagers struggle cuz by nature they are supposed to break away from parents and make their own life. It is nature.
Also if you want a teenager to listen to you and have good values you need to engender within them proper morals, right and wrong, not just conformity.
Being a teenager is a self-limiting ailment (you grow out of it). Most survive and become adults. Its always been that way.
according to some, “teenager” is a flawed modern concept. By halocha, a child is not responsible, his parents are. Then, at bar/bas mitzvah, he is. Teenager is a creature with partial responsibility and leads to finding excuses to evade responsibilities. There were no teenagers before modernity and the world went round and round. I am not sure I 100% subscribe to that, but there is something here.
according to others (R Orlowek), recently teeangers start at about 8 due to access to information, so treat them accordingly.
Even the Gedolim in Eretz Yisrael are saying the parents have to educate the children. The results of not doing so can be catastrophic. I think the easiest way to do it is to learn some Gemara together – examples are Bava Metzia 90b at the bottom and Niddah 13a, but there are many, many more sugyas. If the father can’t do it, have someone else do it.

right – children were growing up and becoming adults. Sometimes, they would have to work/aka becoming adults while still children.
Not my theory, I am not a historian … you do have Aristotle and others complaining about youth and their lack of experience and thus thinking they know everything, but I think it is about young age in general, not in a sense of a group of people whom we hold not responsible for their behavior.
@resque. do you really believe that right or wrong exist? Literally the only thing to bite into that was even forbidden in a garden. That only HAVA bought from a snake. And then they were sent to go prove whats right and whats wrong. Fails to raise two sons for favouring his meat produce while not caring about even more harder physically thing to produce that are grown plants. all while knowing what is right and what is wrong. manages to manipulate one son to kill another probably for entertainment and while knowing right and wrong. HAVA is punished for the best drama and the highestbproblem for a woman pain in child labour.
I could literally condition my wife in advance to be physically capable to give child birth with amasing ease like in a second. takes time and dedication on improving body capabilities. to reduce a drama of child birth of 12 hours of amazing display how physically inferior this woman is compared to average capabilities of a woman.
Or my father told me that for women it is harder to hold pee so they should be allowed to go to toilet first. And I agree. But when it goes to ludicrousy being unable to hold it and even peeing too often than it is naturally normal. Or gets a blader infection just after a single touch. And ends up with some milky disease that doctors tells her just eat less sugar. and she just goes on eating shugar and maintaining this milk disease and when she even ends up unable to defecate by herself on demand. and doctors just tells her to consume more iron.
All I can tell you that all these fucking problems is her own fault. And there so many incapable of even basic bodily functions. Is just why I claim to be superior to these people without telling about my own special genes or something. It is all because of my own regular conditioning of myself. I can turn on state of affect on demand. and make you behave like a stupid charging horse at me out of rage. I can put you in a state where you are going to passionately go talking nonsense for many hours about how you are better than me and turning to splatter a whole vocabulary of insults you have at me. and then tell me that it is me that is doing something to you and you behave like that because im making you do it and then you are telling me that people like me has to be cilled. and tell me about your rough attempts about what you would organise to do to me. And I would just ignore you. Because I condition my neural system by using it and getting it hurt by solving problems again and again. and Im always defeating myself in secret on my own so you would fail. And you being just inferior person being stupid misinformed underdeveloped in most of your bodily systems. overaged baby basically. Believe that you have equal rights to me. No I tell you. you have way more. Because all of your gang will always believe any fantasy you make uo about me and I am just happy about it that all your idea, plan and everything else is destined to fail from beginnig. Best thing you can do is cry me a river. My mother tried this upon me and realised that she cant even produce enough tears to make them useful.
Best people like you can do is to come up in tears shoulting about how you are more right and how I am totally wrong. And I just listen all you say and just ignore you. In the end everyone I know develops a habit of avoiding talking to me. They end up hearing me with no response and thats it. Then you turn into my trap I always had for you to battle me in subtlety charged by envy and hate. and you make a stupid attempt to do a sabotage of my base bybphysically invading it to steal my phone because I talk too much when I just call the police to inform them that my phone is stolen. and all your wanna play gangsters just end up telling me if i call the police again you will break my neck and I just tell you, to not make laugh. going on a subtlety attacks on self made spymaster of a family is the best thing you can do for me. Thank you for it. Keep it up. All I would need is a legal permission to just do what I do. so called diplomatic imunity. and you are gone.I’m not sure where you thought I don’t believe in right and wrong. And even if I didn’t believe in right and wrong my beliefs don’t change reality. The fabric of reality is morality
